Autumn Yet

Wow! One can truly say after Labor Day that summer has had it's farewell. Summer this year was a special one. I went to Florida and spent some time with my son Mark and his family. My grand-children are so special and I reallly miss them. I came home and had my daugher America and her family here with us for 2-months. Amazingly we got to spend 4th of July together and that is one of my favortie holidays (summer that is) OH!! we had an addition to the family Baby Beckham was born on Aug 6th. I spent many evenings with Mia and Sebastian. Then America and the kids went back home and John stayed here with Joe and I. We truly enjoyed it all. Miss John!!
Seasons are so special and we look forward to the changes each season brings. Autumn comes in dressed in it's gold,orange,browns and yellow. God is loving. I feel his love through the colors he displays all around us and the changes in this fall season. It's a reminder to look in my heart and see how I can change myself. What can I do for the homeless, the lonely or the elderly who hunger to chat with someone. Visit Aunt Sara, start working on my annual blanket drive. Call a single friend and invite them to come for dinner. God I love you and thank-you for all my family and friends

It's never too late

It's been 2 yrs. since I blogged and feel like where did the time go. Well so many things have happened. I became a great-grandma to not one or two, but four beautiful great grand-babies. Then my daughter and son both made me a grand-ma on the same day in Jan.'09. My husband has done so well health wise and I thank our heavenly father for wathcing over us.
